Togolese Nigerian actor (stage and film), a writer and an entrepreneur. Dela
has featured in more than 20 movies, about 15 stage dramas and has done few
voice overs. She was nominated by the Association of Theater and Media Art Students (ATMAS FuLafia
Chapter) and won the award of Best Overall Actor Diaspora
(female), 12th October 2019 and ATMAS Student in Diaspora, 21st
July 2017. She trades largely in food products and recently in Zikel cosmetic
products.

origin can be traced to Kpota, a town in Togo while her Nigerian origin is traced
to Itoko, Abeokuta, Ogun state. She had little of her education in Togo but
after moving with her new family to Nigeria in 2005, she had to start her education
from primary school due to differences in language as she spoke only French and
Ewe language. She attended New Life Baptist School in Port Harcourt in the same
year where she had double promotions into the two next classes. In 2009, Dela
Azojani Adeorike moved to Abuja to live with her aunt and her family. She
attended Metro International School for the rest of her primary and secondary
school education. She was elected Head Girl in the first ever prefect election held
in school in 2014. She finished from Scholarsland Academy in 2015 and was
admitted in the university same year. She got admission in two universities; Nasarawa
State University, Keffi, Nasarawa State and The Federal University of Lafia,
Nasarawa state, but attended the Federal University where was appointed the Chairman
of Creative Writer’s Forum in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Art Degree
in English and Modern Languages in 2019. She has few certificates in entrepreneurial
workshops and seminars and is currently serving her fatherland while still
running professional courses in Human Resource, Project Management and
International Customer Care Services. Dela Azojani Adeorike’s
acting career Television has been a
childhood passion for Dela. While in primary school, Dela Azojani Adeorike
wanted to be a newscaster and always read to her security man. Later, she
developed more interest for film and wanted to be the next Ini Edo. That was the
beginning of her acting career as she joined drama club in school and always
participated in plays and choreographies organized to mark the end of the
school session. Her fire was fanned to flames when she went to the university.
She participated in many stage plays and was recognized by the association of Theater
and Media Students (ATMAS FuLafia chapter) with several awards although people
always say she graduated with another degree in Theater. Dela Azojani
Adeorike joined a drama troop, Ivory Ambassadors led by Mr. Steve James
Fijosewa (Uncle Steve) and began acting professionally around 2016. Dela registered with Actors Guild of Nigeria
(AGN Abuja chapter), Legendary Production House as well as Crystal Pebbles
Production House in 2020. She was also appointed the Head of Dance and Drama in
the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Kogi state where
she represented her platoon. Dela Azojani Adeorike’s journey and growth in the
Nigerian movie industry has been impressive. She has starred in numerous
movies. Asides acting, Dela Azojani Adeorike is also a scriptwriter and a
story-teller. She is a co-writer as well as co-editor in the series Daughter of Eve and House On Fire. She also wrote Sweet
Sorrowful Happiness, The Change We Need, We are the Future and many others
which has been presented on stage and the others waiting to be filmed. She also has many poems and books soon to be

the privilege to model for a few years. She registered with Y-Ray Modelling
